How strange…I have just bought the remastered ‘Kevin Ayers’ album "Bananamour" (which is brill) there is a track on it called "When your parents go to sleep" and Mr Ayers needed it to be sung in the style of Mr Ray Charles! nothing to do with the link you put here, but, how odd?

Ha ha ha – The Romo for Real 2 – laughing out loud and i can only assume it’s because out of nowhere, while you were talking about Barry Manilow and Garageband, suddenly i could hear the J Geils Band?!

Excellent! I don’t know why i’m finding it so hilarious. I’ll download the others when i get more time. Great stuff.

Walking home earlier today i was wondering what i would open a "First Ever Whales Podcast" with and decided it would be something by Elvis Costello, probably "watching The Detectives".

Oddly – i’m now listening to it on RoMo’s Podcast 7!

I once laboured under the misapprehension that the lyrics to the Frankie Goes to Hollywood song Rage Hard were in fact "Ray Charles".

The truth entailed a moment of agonising disappointment, I can assure.
