Oh the joys of being freelance….<br/><br/>Bettster – Yes – they are amazing. There was a great doc last night about Les Paul on BBC4 called Chasing Sound I think. It is repeated tonight very late – try and catch it/tape it etc if you can. Hmmm…I think you are def onto something re: Joe Meek.

Paul Ford is 92 years old now, and every Monday evening he plays live the Iridium Club in New York City. He is just unbelievable.

Yes, I just bought my daughter a Les Paul uke.
I didn’t realise Les Paul was a real person until very recently.
I LOVE this tune – and this clip, been blasting it myself recently – it’s so creamydreamy and there’s something Donna Summerish about the vocals in the middle section (circa I Feel Love).

Up to that point I thought he was just some bloke that made guitars.<br/><br/>Mr Mondomania – I know – it’s incredible isn’t it?
