You won’t believe this, but someone’s just posted a mackeral through my letter box. Is this a record?

  5. Istvanski permalink

No, Howesy. It’s a type of fish.

But he will keep ‘tuna’ing to your posts. He’ll be squids in if he does. They don’t mackerel them like that anymore…I could go on…I’ll go on…

This is a cool plaice you’ve got here. There’s no need to ‘shrimp’ and save with RoMo about. It’s never dirty and there’s never any prawn. And she doesn’t suffer from crabs. She isn’t shellfish and shares everything…even her Liza Minnowlli CDs. She never wants to be a bottom feeder, she’s got cod on her side.

God…that was bad even for me.

I’ll have to skate over here more often to check out the bass humour. Caviar emptor?

Go and scampi off to make us another Podcast lovely RoMo. I did try hard on my comments today, didn’t I miss?

Or am I just a whitebait…sorry lightweight?

There I was, floundering among the dolphiniums, when I heard someone singing Salmon Chanted Evening. Tried to mussel up on my perch (on porpoise of course) but couldn’t sea a lot. Hard of herring too. Sawfish, though – of which I guess the past tense would be swordfish…

  12. JDA permalink

well bless my ‘sole’ I’ve haddock enough of this! scampi off the lot of ya.

  13. rockmother permalink

While eel be damned – that IS alot of fish tails. Have we fin-ished now? Or is there more? Wow – this is marlinrvellous. Agh – help I can’t stop!

  14. JDA permalink

what a load of pre’tench’ous twaddle!

Fer God’s hake! It’s made my winkle go tingly!

  18. Molly Bloom permalink

Sorry…didn’t catch that…my herring isn’t so good these days. I’m so tired…I need to go to sleep…I think I’ll just kipper right here on the floor. That sleeping bag is so small I shall certainly fillet.

  19. BEAST permalink

I cant think of any amusing fish related , play on words… I will just sit here quietly

  20. SimonHolyHoses permalink

Sitting quietly is much better than carping about it.

Ooh! Drew so hard on that last roach that it’s left me all daced and confused.

Without a shadow of a doubt, I’d better leave this plaice before I get myself into serious chuble.

  21. rockmother permalink

Oops – I just fell off my perch laughing. Anyone got five squid they can lend me until f-eel flush again?
