Momo Madster – yep – costly bloody things – ??300 to fix and I think the car is only worth ??400 or so. I have spent A LOT on it so far. I think it is trying to tell me something. I think it wants to go to old saab heaven. I’ve been out and about with a rucksack and the bike all day. Was fun. That’s the mode of transport for the moment. That and the bus that never turns up.<br/><br/>Cyrano – yes – the car and the oven. Grilling tonight! Again. I must have a glass of wine immediately.
Cars are such a pain. My wife has never had a decent car – even when I think I have spashed out on one for her it still turns into a pup. Some people are jinxed with jallopies and she is one of ’em. Seems like you’re going the same way too. I hit a tree last week. In reverse, while parking, while talking (hand free) on my phone. Blast! was about all I could manage. Cars are just carrages. Don’t have relationships with them because they will always let you down in the end, no matter how much you love them. Buy another and treat it badly from the off!
Palin – certainly does!<br/><br/>Dickley – I felt slightly better after I found a radiator online which was half of what the mechanic was quoting! Plan is to replace radiator and sell sell sell.<br/><br/>Col The Magic Ship Man – the good think about the Wagon Of Rock is that you can treat it badly, aim it at people and they get out of the way because even at 5mph they know that your bumper will do a lot of damage. Anyway – I have made a decision – it’s being mended and going. <br/><br/>I Haven’t – yes I know. The radiator going was a bit like an old person weeing themselves – it’s going to the old cars home soon.

To be fair you’ve had that car for BLOODY AGES! Think of it as a well loved pet – it just needs to go to pet heaven now.
